Weather wc 7th May

Well last week was an extraordinary week for weather here at Eriska especially Thursday night when the heavens truly opened and the rain came down. In fact we had just finished pouriung the last roof on my house and I worried most of the night that when I retuened in the morning it mightb have been washed away but what it did was make sure the roof was flat!!

Si Mays here so is summer?  Higher pressure to the north of the UK allows fine, mainly dry conditions to be maintained over Scotland and Eriska will benefit more than most. These more settled conditions extending to all areas for a time, although with a scattering of showers developing inland each afternoon.  Temperatures mostly near normal, locally rather warm inland.

Sunday- light rain showers all day

Monday- cloudy start gives way to sun and clear skies overnight

Tuesday -Sunshine

Wednesday Sunshine- hopefully not to hot as I have been once again conned into another hill run jaunt!

Thursday- Dry and settled

Friday- Sunshine with a few clouds

Saturday- cloudy but dry
