Weather w/c 2nd September
So officially according to Eriska the summer is over, however this is not judged on a sense of the weather as if so it may have been a long time ago but on the fact that we start closing the curtains after dinner to keep the dark night out. This always happens on or about the 1st September but does not signal a definite change in the weather fortunately. In fact when I was a wee boy I always used to go back to school about the first week in September and remember the last week at home always being sunny and always having Chays birthday party, the end of this week, outside in the garden. Was this rosy spectacles or will we be lucky?
Sunday: After a wet night last night the wind seems to have parted the clouds and we should be in for a dry but blustery day
Monday: Another day of sunshine and cloudy spells but hopefully dry
Tuesday still but also cloudy
Wednesday: A dull day but should stay dry for most of the daylight
Thursday: A showery blustery day
Friday: Largely dry with sunny spells and fairly light winds
Saturday: May be rather more cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle at times
