If it's written we believe it!

Every time we open the news[papers or switch on the television or radio we read about recent health scares or even better- health cures. However as soon as there is a positive one we seem to be backed into a corner by an equally negative message. Sausages are good for us, sausages kill, eat chicken to live for ever or chicken is infested. All are always supported by copious amounts of evidence from wonderful experts but in reality it does not really matter what we are told as many of us become deaf to bad news and alert to good news.

However when it comes to drinks my Father was a wonderful example of this as he only ever listened to the part which told you what was good and deaf to both the part about what was bad and most importantly how much was essential. Anyway one of my cousins has managed to go even further and on a recent trip found the enclosed sign on a doctors surgery in Bordeaux. Obviously translation has now ceased to be a problem also but  I suspect this doctors surgery is one of the most popular in town!
