Weather w/c 11th November

Last week seemed to be dominated by the news, first it was heavy rain then high winds and finally the impending flooding in Norfolk. In the end it all came to nothing and Britain has survived. We do however all have very short memories as now we all think that the autumn has been dreadful even though up until last week it had been better than average here at Eriska. Anyway the strong winds do have one major positive effect which is that most of the leaves are off the trees and after a few days next week of concentrated effort we should be all done for another year. There area at present huge piles along the fence by the putting green and in the hollows by the front door so not many more to go!

So whats ahead for next week. well in short a much better week than last week.

Sunday: Some good sunny spells developing but cold, in a north or northwest breeze.

Monday: Frosty with sunny spells at first with rain spreading from the west later.

Tuesday:Occasional rain or showers

Wednesday; Mainly dry .

Thursday : Very similar to Wednesday with stable calm conditions

Friday:High pressure is expected to build northeastwards from the Atlantic, though it may continue to feel chilly under generally cloudy or dull skies

Saturday:It is expected to become unsettled and at times windy with rain or showers
