Company car?

When I was in London a couple of weeks ago to attend the cateys dinner the Goring Hotel, another finalist, offered to send their car to transport us to the event. Expecting a Simple London Cab to turn up I was flabberghasted when the wonderful Rolls Royce appeared and even more surprised when I got aboard and sank into the wonderful seats and read the information in the seat pocket, and as ever it made me begin to wonder if we should be offering a similar service.

Clearly a wonderful car such as Rolls would not be quite as suitable for the roads to Eriska and definitely the luggage and fuel consupmption would be an issue! So we have started investigating the options and were lucky enough the other night to have three of the contenders in the carpark awaiting the guests for the day. Quickly and polititely I spoke to each driver in turn and asked about the vehicles and the points raised in their favour. Then I had a brief look around them and finally I even managed a wee spin round the carpark to try them.

Then having narrowed the solution down I arranged test drive sand today spend the morning on the strreets of Glasgow trying ot see how they felt firstly as a passenger and then as a driver and finally it was into the showroom to be persuaded that we could justify the expense. In true Eriska fashion the final phase is still ongoing but I think we now know what we need and its just a matter of deciding if we can afford it! We have opted for a vehicle capable of transporting 6 people in comfort or two people in style and one which is an asset to the brand. So if finance permits and we all agree it will heplp us , and more importantly we can reach a deal we will report back the outcome!
