Weather w/c 27th July

You wuld expect the weather during the Glasgow Fayre fortnight to be sunny and dry and indeed the first week has obeys the rule but the next 7 days will not be so good. We have also just had two perfect evenings just enough sunshine to overcome the breeze which kept midges at bay so ideal. But then last night a warmer night, no wind just milling hordes of bugs meant that the aircondiytioning in the diningroom was at full capacity but that was why we installed it!!

So whats ahead?

Sunday: Another bright day for most, any mist and low cloud clearing. Sunny spells developing, but risk of the odd shower. Winds remaining light.

Monday: Still mainly dry, warm and bright. However, some showery rain possible from time to time with low and mist developing overnight.

tuesday : Similar to yesterday but Freshening southeasterly winds.

Wednesday: Showwers developing but still warm and sunny spells

Thursday: Initially the south and east will be mainly dry and very warm but outbreaks of rain and nearer normal temperatures in the west

Friday: Rain will have spread to most by the morning.

Saturday: Generally unsettled with either rain or showers on the hills.
