Weather w/c 28th December

Its about time thatw e had a good week of weather to finish the year having suffered with cold and rain over the last few years, and the good news is that it looks like we have finally broken the duck as the next few days both looks settled and calm. Although in general it will be cooler, the lack of cloud cover and frosty weather will at least insure that it remians fresh- the perfect way to end one year and start another.

Sunday: A cold and frosty start to the day, this gradually melting away to leave a dry day with some bright intervals developing.

Monday: Staying settled with bright or sunny intervals and overnight frost.

Tuesday: Best brightest day of the week with clear blue skies

Wednesday: Whislt it will remain dry there is a slight chance of clouds pushing in from the west

Thursday: New Year's Day, the weather will be generally fine but cold, with frost and fog patches morning and night.

Friday:. Little change is expected as we head into the first weekend of 2009, in that the generally cold and settled theme is set to continue with frost and fog patches morning and night.

Saturday: Although there will probably be a few wintry showers towards the east coast we should remain clear and dry here at Eriska.
