Eriska is 35 Years Old- if only I had remembered!

I know my mother has a great memory but when she mentioned how the sunset was just the same 35 years ago I did think that she was slightly pushing the boat out so I thought I would test the water and ask if she could remember what she was doing and what she had for supper 35 years ago. Naturally she could rember it as though it was yesterday and luckily I did not decide to place a bet on it.

35 Yeas ago Eriska was celebating its birth as a hotel as it was our first full day in business. The day was a stunner, the sun shines on the righteous, and the sunset was really special as they had a few seconds to enjoy it after the grand opening party. It does lead me to wonder how much we have changed since that day back in 1974 and whether it has turned out the way my parents had imagined. They did however set out with a guiding light which was to welcome people to Eriska and let them leave relaxed and recuperated and tis remains at the core of our aims today. Lets hope in another 35 years we are still aiming for the same values.
