Badger Bedlam lucky winner
Some time ago I came up with the concept of adding a bit of fun to our website and from here "Badger Bedlam " was evolved. As with many mad ideas the devil is in the detail but I managed to find a website designer who shared the same ideas as me and saw the value in offering visitors to our website some light relief and for guests of the hotel a chance to enjoy some relaxation when they were considering returning to Eriska or reflecting on a past visit.
However the website design team, whilst being more business orientated thought that a prize for the game would help raise the stakes and given all the rules and regulations after the TV scams we had to do it properly- that meant pages of terms and conditions and most importantly of all an independent draw whereby I could not influence the decision or even twist it so that I could win. So Yesterday the deadline for the first tranche of entries ran out and Netstep duly set about drawing a winner. Clearly whilst I was consulted as to the final draw, just to insure Chay or my Mother did not win as they were excluded given the rules from winning but not taking part!
So this morning I had the chance to write to the lucky winner and hopefully over the next few days we will be able to arrange his visit to Eriska. However given all the interest it has generated and the fun we have had replying to questions about the game we will be launching a further prize for the next draw- it will also keep Chay up to speed thinking up aliases to keep his chances of winning a weekend at Eriska alive! In the meantime well done to all who took part- it was not the highest score that would win but the taking part and especially well done to Ian McWhirter whose name was randomly generated by the Netstep computer!

We demand a recount. Better still have a competition for the old codgers whose fingers aren't as nimble as they used to be.

Delighted to have been selected as the winner, and thoroughly looking forward to visiting!
